The Willits Wolverines lost against the Fort Bragg Timberwolves back in January of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The contest between the two teams wasn't particularly close, with Willits falling 55-40.
Andre Chavez-Meza continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Fort Bragg, scoring 25 points along with six rebounds. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for him. Cooper Killion was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds.
Willits now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Fort Bragg, their victory bumped their record up to 2-8.
Willits will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Middletown at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Fort Bragg and Making Waves Academy will round out the year against one another at 8:00 p.m. on December 28th at.
