The Beddingfield Bruins will be playing in front of their home fans against the Princeton Bulldogs at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Beddingfield's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Princeton has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Last Tuesday, Beddingfield beat Eastern Wayne 47-35.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beddingfield to victory, but perhaps none more so than Natasha Marshall, who scored 12 points along with five steals. Marshall hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. Another player making a difference was Kamyla Hill, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Princeton came up short against Spring Creek on Tuesday and fell 45-38.
Beddingfield is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Princeton, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Beddingfield against Princeton in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 71-24 win. Will Beddingfield repeat their success, or does Princeton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
