The Beyer Patriots will venture away from home to face off against the Pacheco Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Beyer has five straight victories, Pacheco has nine straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Beyer's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Friday. They put the hurt on Grace Davis with a sharp 10-0 win. Considering the Patriots have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Lily Robinson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of AnnMarie Scott, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Robinson wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Beyer kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Pacheco came up short against Grace Davis on Friday, falling 13-6.
Isabella Chavez and Yasmin Regalado stepped up to the plate in a big way. Chavez scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Regalado scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Emma Landeros, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
Pacheco's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Beyer, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
Pacheco's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Beyer hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. It's a different story for Pacheco, though, as they've only averaged .224. Will they be able to contain Beyer's hitters?
Beyer beat Pacheco 7-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Will Beyer repeat their success, or does Pacheco has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
