The Meadows School Mustangs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They came out on top against Sports Leadership & Management by a score of 55-44. The victory was familiar territory for The Meadows School who now have four in a row.
Several Bulls players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tavara Swonger, who scored ten points along with five steals. Swonger hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Dennise Fleming was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three steals.
The Meadows School's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
The Meadows School will head out on the road to challenge Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas is ranked 57th, while The Meadows School is ranked 55th). As for Sports Leadership & Management, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Boulder City at 6:30 p.m. Boulder City is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
