Northwestern suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Eleanor Roosevelt 55-10. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Northwestern has scored all season.
In what's become a running theme this season, Parkdale gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They really took it to Laurel for the full four quarters, racking up a 44-17 win at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Parkdale has posted since December 12, 2023.
Hannah Youn was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Youn is absolutely dominating the block category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Nalani Miller, who scored 11 points along with two steals.
Northwestern has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Parkdale, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
Northwestern was taken down by Parkdale 78-2 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Northwestern was down 47-0.
