Joshua Byers continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his 21st-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least six total tackles. He picked up two sacks and made 15 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
If the past is any indication, Byers could be in store for another big game when he takes on East Knox on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Byers saw the Bulldogs), he made 16 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Blake Sipes Dazzles in Fredericktown Loss
Rounding off our Top Five is Blake Sipes of Fredericktown. Sipes rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 169 yards and a touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 126 rushing yards dating back to last season.
If history really does repeat itself, Sipes might just drop another big game when he faces off against Centerburg on Friday. Sipes rushed for 242 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 62 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Trojans duked it out back in October of 2023.
