The Blackhawks made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 2,841 from 2,950. The improvement was the result of a 35-6 victory over the Tigers last week.
Thanks to the talents of Kyle Kabeary and Trae Riek, Palm Desert has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Kabeary is tops in the league in passing with 1,338 yards, while Riek has rushed for 1,649 yards this season. Cathedral City's James Rodriguez leads the league in receiving yards with 377 on 19 catches.
In 107 carries Orlando Wallace has accumulated 921 yard this year.
The Aztecs led Desert Valley in scoring this week by notching 40 points on the Aztecs.
