The Centralia Panthers will head out on the road to square off against the Marceline Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Centralia is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
In what's become a running theme this season, Centralia gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 68-32 victory over Fayette. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 44-23.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Marceline, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They took a 62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of Meadville on January 3rd.
Centralia now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Marceline, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
Everything came up roses for Centralia against Marceline in their previous matchup back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 68-37 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Centralia since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
