The LaMoille Lions pushed their score all the way to 62 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 72-62 to Orangeville. If LaMoille hoped to take revenge for the 64-60 defeat against they when the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
LaMoille's loss came despite strong showings from Brayden Klein and Tyler Billhorn. Klein scored 21 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds, while Billhorn dropped a double-double on 22 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Klein has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Josh Martin, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
LaMoille has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for Orangeville, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-13.
LaMoille's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Hiawatha at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Orangeville, they will head out on the road to challenge Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
