Even though the Northwest Christian School Crusaders have not done well against the Davenport Gorillas recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Northwest Christian School blew past Davenport 60-37. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Northwest Christian School.
Northwest Christian School's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ben Slade led the charge by scoring 14 points. Another player making a difference was Titus Spuler, who scored 11 points.
Northwest Christian School now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Davenport, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Northwest Christian School will head out on the road to face off against Chewelah at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Davenport, they will be playing at home against Kettle Falls at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kettle Falls is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
