After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Katahdin, Hodgdon was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Madawaska Owls a 12-0 shutout. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Hawks this season.

Hodgdon's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8. As for Madawaska, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Hodgdon will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Owls: the pair will be back at it again later today.
