Collins-Maxwell put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took their game against Twin Cedars by a conclusive 54-20 score. The success made it back-to-back wins for Collins-Maxwell.
Meanwhile, after constant struggles on the road, Melcher-Dallas have finally found some success away from home. They were fully in charge, breezing past Meskwaki Settlement 74-14. Melcher-Dallas were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Their wins bumped Melcher-Dallas to 4-4 and Collins-Maxwell to 3-6. Given their high-scoring efforts against their previous opponents, it will be interesting to see how far up these teams can run up the score.
