The Chicago Vocational Cavaliers's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They claimed a resounding 59-26 win over Hancock at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Chicago Vocational has posted since December 12, 2023.
Ron Thigpen was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Bellamy, who scored 12 points.
Chicago Vocational's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Hancock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-21.
Chicago Vocational won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Longwood at 11:30 a.m. on January 27th. As for Hancock, they will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Laurence at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
