Basketball Recap: Four Rivers' Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Four Rivers). Everything went their way against the Irrigon Knights on Friday as the Four Rivers Falcons made off with a 51-28 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Four Rivers' win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for Irrigon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Four Rivers will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Irrigon at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Irrigon will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Griswold at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
