Danville extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating River, 30-6. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Johnstown-Monroe's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Thompson threw for 169 and two touchdowns and Nick Sadinsky had 148 yards receiving. On the ground Cody Farley chipped in 165 yards. Farley helped Johnstown-Monroe's passing attack out by catching one ball for 12 yards.
Northridge's Bryant Garee and Chase Hess have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Garee has thrown for 469 yards this season, while Hess, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 21 catches for 276 yards. The Johnnies' Farley leads the league in rushing yards with 1539.
Johnstown-Monroe and Indian Valley played the most hotly contested game in Mid-Buckeye this week, with Johnstown-Monroe eventually emerging with a 24-21 victory. Thompson ran for 40 yards in the win.
