With a playoff game on the line, the Benjamin Franklin Chargers rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They blew past the Griffins 4-1. The result was nothing new for Benjamin Franklin, who have now won 11 games by three goals or more so far this season.
They hit Glendale Prep Academy with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from
Rachel Greksa,
Brynn Hakes,
Payton Immke, and
Jaspyr Rocha.
Benjamin Franklin is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Glendale Prep Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4.
Benjamin Franklin will head out on the road to challenge Northwest Christian at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Northwest Christian will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Benjamin Franklin surely won't give up without a fight. Glendale Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
