This season hasn't been kind to the Bruni Badgers, who are still winless after their fifth game. They had to suffer through a rough 83-24 loss at the hands of Falfurrias. Bruni was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-14.
Falfurrias' win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marcos Gonzalez, who scored 12 points along with 5 steals. Gonzalez continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Viktor Perez, who scored 14 points along with 3 steals.
Bruni's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Falfurrias, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
Bruni will square off against Bloomington at TBD on Thursday. Falfurrias' road trip will continue as they head out to face Pettus at 12:45 p.m. on December 7th. Hopefully Pettus focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday.
