On Thursday, Eastern Greene suffered a tough 67-47 defeat at the hands of Tecumseh. That's two games in a row now that Eastern Greene has lost by exactly 20 points.
Eastern Greene's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mallorie Elliott, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Bianca Wyatt, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Eastern Greene and nudges their season record down to 8-5. As for Tecumseh, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-6.
Eastern Greene won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Trinity Lutheran at 2:45 p.m. on December 29th. Hopefully Trinity Lutheran focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Friday. As for Tecumseh, they will be playing in front of their home fans against North Posey at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Posey is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
