This season hasn't been kind to the Prentiss Christian Saints, who are still winless after their fourth match. They had to suffer through a rough 70-28 loss at the hands of Sylva Bay Academy. Prentiss Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-8.
Brody Boyd was his usual excellent self, shooting 5-for-8 from long range and dropping a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds for Sylva Bay Academy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Boyd has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Timothy Moss, who scored seven points.
Prentiss Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 0-4. As for Sylva Bay Academy, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4.
Prentiss Christian will head out on the road to face off against Woodlawn Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Woodlawn Prep is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games. As for Sylva Bay Academy, they will be playing at home against Lamar Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Lamar Christian is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
