Sumner-Eddyville-Miller won the last time they faced Wilcox-Hildreth and things went their way on Monday too. The Mustangs came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-21.

Taryn Arbuthnot paced Sumner-Eddyville-Miller's offense, picking up seven kills. Arbuthnot got some help from Avery Harder and her six assists. Finally, Haylee Hays kept Sumner-Eddyville-Miller's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Sumner-Eddyville-Miller's win bumped their record up to 19-6. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-24.

Coincidentally, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller and Wilcox-Hildreth will both be playing Pleasanton the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
