The Cedar Reds's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a  tough 76-51 walloping at the hands of Crimson Cliffs. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cedar in their matchups with Crimson Cliffs: they've now lost three in a row.
 When it comes to explaining why Cedar lost, one person who can't be blamed is  Easton Albrecht. Despite the final result, he  scored 15 points along with six  rebounds and three  steals. The  game was  Albrecht's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Landon Kreitzer, who  scored 11 points along with seven  rebounds.
 Even though they lost, Cedar  were working as a unit and  finished the game with 12  assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crimson Cliffs only racked up 28  assists.
 It was another big night for  Sean Felts, who  scored 26 points along with five  rebounds and three  blocks for Crimson Cliffs. The  match was  Felts' fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Travis Murdock, who  scored 16 points.
 Cedar's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Crimson Cliffs, their win bumped their record up to 6-7.
 Cedar will head out on the road to face off against Snow Canyon at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The timing is sure in Snow Canyon's favor as the  squad sits on four straight wins at home while Cedar has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season. Crimson Cliffs will take on Desert Hills at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Desert Hills is coming into the  game hot, having won their last four games.
