Softball Recap: Logan Has No Trouble Against Ridgeline

Logan made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Ridgeline, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Logan was the clear victor by a 13-2 margin over Ridgeline on Friday. The matchup marked the Grizzlies' most dominant win of the season so far.

Logan let Kiki Laing and Emma Bracken run wild. Laing scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while Bracken went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. What's more, Bracken posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Cadence Boyer was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Logan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

The victory got Logan back to even at 6-6. As for Ridgeline, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-6 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan and Bear River will meet on Monday for a tough Bear Battle. Bear River will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Logan surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ridgeline, they will take on West Field at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
