Having just played yesterday, the Rosamond Roadrunners will get right back to it and host the Wasco Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on January 24th. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Rosamond has six straight wins, Wasco has ten straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
In what's become a running theme this season, Rosamond gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 87-60 win over California City on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Rosamond has posted since November 14, 2023.
Andrew Arredondo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 29 points. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Fabian Robles, who scored 20 points.
Wasco suffered their biggest loss since December 1, 2023 on Monday. They took a serious blow against McFarland, falling 83-40. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wasco in their matchups with McFarland: they've now lost four in a row.
Rosamond has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Wasco, they dropped their record down to 4-16 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
Rosamond came up short against Wasco in their previous meeting back in May of 2021, falling 39-32. Will Rosamond have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
