Wallace's Jacob Berman rumbled for the longest rushing play in 1A North Star (8 Man) this season in his game against Mullan last week. Berman ran for 92 yards on the play and finished with 102 on the day as his team beat the Tigers.
Wallace took down Mullan 68-22 last week, the largest margin of any game. Berman threw for 69 yards and two touchdowns in the win.
Dave Rounds's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Gavin Rasmussen chipped in 162 yards. Michael Carey helped Wallace's passing attack out by catching one ball for 22 yards.
Brock Arthun was the best wideout in the league this week as the Miners defeated Corey Miller's team. Arthun racked up one reception for 44 yards.
Jon Dellinger made the biggest impact on defense this week as Wallace topped the Tigers. The 6-foot-1 senior racked up two sacks.
Wallace's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Miners feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Berman has thrown for 443 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Arthun has eight catches for 294 yards. Rasmussen leads the league in rushing with 719 yards.
A big matchup in 1A North Star (8 Man) this week will be when Mullan takes on Clark Fork. The Tigers are in fourth place, while the Wampus Cats are in third place.
Clark Fork led the league in scoring this week after putting up 70 points on Lakeside.
