Ryle dropped their record down to 22-9-1 on Monday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the St. Henry Crusaders by a score of 4-3. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Crusaders earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

As for St. Henry, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-14. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.

For St. Henry's part, their win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Detzel, who went 1-for-3 with one run.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ryle will square off against Bishop Brossart at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Henry, they will face off against Simon Kenton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
