Baseball Recap: Cisco's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Cisco came tearing into Monday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Brady Bulldogs. For the Loboes, this counts as revenge for the 8-3 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Pecos Duke was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Parker Williams, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Cisco's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Brady, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cisco is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Lipan at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cisco is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season. Brady will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ingram Moore at 7:00 p.m. on March 28th.
