Bobby Kleinow spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on seven hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Noah Danza, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Jason Bogart, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Meanwhile, Clearview posted their closest victory since April 14th on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past Gloucester County Tech 4-3.
Josh Yurgin tossed a big game, pitching 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits.
At the plate, Luke Yeager was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.
Clearview's win bumped their record up to 16-5-2. As for Gloucester Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
