Softball Recap: Genesee Beats Kendrick for Their Fifth Straight Victory

Genesee won against Kendrick last Monday with 17 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 17-5 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by seven runs or more this season.

The victory (which was Genesee's fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 23.6 runs over those games. As for Kendrick, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Genesee will square off against Potlatch at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Loggers have averaged an impressive 15.8 runs per game this season. As for Kendrick, they will challenge Lapwai at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
