Seffner Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jade Thompson led the charge by scoring 12 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Nevaeh Lee, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Seffner Christian's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for Port Charlotte, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
