Montesano got themselves on the board against DeSales on Saturday, but DeSales never followed suit. They blew past the Irish 12-0. Considering the Bulldogs have won five matchups by more than eight runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Montesano's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for DeSales, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montesano will welcome North Thurston at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for DeSales, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Walla Walla Valley Academy at 3:00 p.m.
