The Mountain View Spartans''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They lost to Menlo-Atherton at home by a decisive 33-14 margin.
Jordan Masuisui had a dynamite game for Menlo-Atherton, rushing for 217 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.8 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Angelo Marin, who picked up 97 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Mountain View's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Menlo-Atherton, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-5.
Mountain View will head out on the road to face off against Sacred Heart Prep at 2:00 p.m. on October 28th. As for Menlo-Atherton, they will be playing at home against Burlingame at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
