River City Believers Academy has struggled against First Baptist Academy recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, River City Believers Academy still got an impressive performance from Lukas Cox, who scored 12 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cox has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brennen McGuire, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Timothy De La Rosa was his usual excellent self, scoring 24 points for First Baptist Academy. De La Rosa hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Noah Napier was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
River City Believers Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for First Baptist Academy, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
