Minneola is 0-10 against South Gray since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Minneola Wildcats' homestand continues as they prepare to take on the South Gray Rebels at 8:00 p.m. on December 12th. Minneola will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 110th, while South Gray is ranked eighth).
Last Saturday, Minneola had to suffer through a rough 85-30 loss at the hands of LaCrosse.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Tyson Klotz, who scored 7 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Lang, who scored 10 points.
Meanwhile, South Gray waltzed into Saturday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Macksville 78-38 on the road. Fans of South Gray have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season ended as a blowout.
Their wins bumped Minneola to 2-2 and LaCrosse to 4-0.
Minneola took a serious blow against South Gray in their previous meeting back in January, falling 83-48. Will Minneola have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other basketball content.
