Maryland School for the Deaf have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. On Saturday they take on Roanoke HomeSchool at Played at Western Albemarle HS at 8:00 PM. The match looks good for Maryland School for the Deaf since they are the big favorites in the MaxPreps state rankings.
Maryland School for the Deaf took care of business in their home opener. They steamrollered FCA Bucks 48-8. The team accrued the bulk of their points in the first half (42) and coasted on those for the win.
Roanoke HomeSchool came within a touchdown against Grace Christian last week, but wound up with a 22-29 loss.
Maryland School for the Deaf's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Roanoke HomeSchool's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Maryland School for the Deaf can add another positive mark to their record or if Roanoke HomeSchool can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Maryland School for the Deaf's step.
