Truell Made His Presence Known in New Hampstead's 34-22 Loss
Starting off the list is New Hampstead's Rashawn Truell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Truell threw for 300 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. His passing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 300 passing yards.
Truell is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Benedictine on Friday. Truell threw for 533 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per attempt the last time he and the Cadets duked it out back in September of 2023.

Kory Pettigrew Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Perry got the W thanks in part to Kory Pettigrew playing the best football he has all season. Pettigrew picked up 181 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 67 yards.
The win (which was Perry's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Pettigrew and Perry are taking a road trip to face off against Benedictine at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Benedictine found a leader in Bubba Frazier as the team took down Wayne County on Friday. Wayne County had no answer to Frazier as he rushed for 72 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 51 receiving yards. Frazier has become a key player for Benedictine: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-3 otherwise.
For the season, Frazier has averaged 93.5 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had one rushing touchdown. This year he is already up to four.

Big Game from Hooks As Ware County Fell 31-21
Ware County had to settle for second on Friday, but Luke Hooks sure wasn't going down easily. Despite the loss, Hooks was still balling out as he threw for 306 yards and three touchdowns.
Ware County now has a losing record at 3-4. Hooks and Ware County will look to defend their home field on Friday against Warner Robins at 7:30 p.m.

Jack Ganem Turns in Season-Best Effort
Jack Ganem produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Benedictine to the win on Friday. Ganem picked up 156 receiving yards and a touchdown.
This year, Ganem has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 47 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 0.17 receiving yards per game.
