There's no place like home for KIPP Legacy, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They secured a 57-52 W over Plattsburg on Friday. This was payback for KIPP Legacy, who suffered a 50-41 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Despite the loss, Plattsburg still got an impressive performance from Michael "isaia" Howard, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 21 rebounds. Howard is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaiveon Grayson, who scored eight points along with 11 rebounds and two steals.
KIPP Legacy's win bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Plattsburg, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 15-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. KIPP Legacy will take on Mid-Buchanan at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mid-Buchanan will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Plattsburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
