Ridge Community's game on Tuesday was all tied up 25-25 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of McKeel Academy.
In what's become a running theme this season, Santa Fe Catholic gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Bishop Moore 76-32 at home. Winning may never get old, but Santa Fe Catholic sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Santa Fe Catholic's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tate Darner, who scored 19 points along with five assists. Darner is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Toby Lane, who scored eight points along with eight assists and five steals.
Ridge Community has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Santa Fe Catholic, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3.
Things could have been worse for Ridge Community, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 79-65 loss to Santa Fe Catholic in their previous matchup back in January of 2023.
