On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Owen Stewart, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Bryan Yaecker also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Purcell Marian will head out to face off against Northwest at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Roger Bacon, they will venture away from home to square off against Indian Hill at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
