That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, Katie Arnett was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Madalynn Halte was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
Orting's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Eatonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.
Orting's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Eatonville has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .505. It's a different story for Orting, though, as they've only averaged .338. Will they be able to contain Eatonville's hitters?
Everything went Eatonville's way against Orting in their previous meeting back in May of 2021, as Eatonville made off with a 28-10 victory. Will the Cruisers repeat their success, or do the Cardinals have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
