If Hillcrest wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Poly, they should've done a better job of containing Marley Wulfestieg. The Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Trojans on Friday thanks in part to Wulfestieg, who had five digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Poly is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season. As for Hillcrest, they dropped their record down to 11-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Poly didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Paloma Valley on the 1st. Hillcrest has also already played their next contest (against Liberty), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
