Kellam is a perfect 10-0 against Landstown since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Knights will head out to challenge the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Kellam's pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so Landstown's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Kellam had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Ocean Lakes on Thursday. The Knights' pitchers stepped up to hand the Dolphins a 6-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Landstown posted their closest win since March 25th on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Princess Anne 3-1. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Hailey Akers was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one run and one double.

Landstown kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive games.

Kellam's record now sits at 12-1. As for Landstown, their record is now 4-9.

Kellam took their victory against Landstown when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 17-0 score. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
