Malad have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Aberdeen on the road at 7:00 PM on Thursday. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Malad, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Their game three weeks ago wasn't at all kind to Malad, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. Two weeks ago, they secured a 26-20 W over Bear Lake. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Malad as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Aberdeen put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took the contest and then some with a 44-6 win over Soda Springs. The success made it back-to-back wins for Aberdeen.
Malad took a serious blow against Aberdeen the last time the two teams met, falling 0-47. Can Malad avenge their defeat, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
