Kennewick's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Pasco with a sharp 17-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won five games by six runs or more so far this season.

On the hitting side, Addison Fielder was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those two runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Bendewald, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Kennewick always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive matchups.
Southridge had taken Hermiston down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Suns came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 20-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Suns have suffered against the Bulldogs since March 29, 2022.
Jadyn Holdren made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Faith Hickman, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.
Southridge's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-3. As for Kennewick, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
