Cambridge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nicole LaFountain, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points LaFountain has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ashley Moses, who scored nine points along with six steals.
Whitehall has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Cambridge, their victory bumped their record up to 6-9.
Whitehall will be playing at home against Warrensburg at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Warrensburg is looking to tack on another W to their eight-game streak on the road. Cambridge won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Waterford-Halfmoon at 5:30 p.m. on January 25th. Waterford-Halfmoon is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.
