Great Hope Baptist can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 42-30 win over Suffolk Christian Academy. That looming 42-30 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Great Hope Baptist yet this season.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nichole Palmer, who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Palmer has scored all season.
Great Hope Baptist's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Suffolk Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Great Hope Baptist will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Victory Christian at 4:00 p.m. on February 5th. As for Suffolk Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against New Life Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
