Silver Lake has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.
Silver Lake was led to victory by Jordan Faimon and Tayten Menke. Faimon scored 17 points along with six rebounds and four steals, while Menke scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Menke has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Casey Conway, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
Despite the loss, Harvard still got an impressive performance from Eduardo Perez, who scored ten points along with three steals and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Perez posted two or more blocks.
Silver Lake has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Harvard, their loss was their tenth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-12.
Silver Lake on the road again on Tuesday and play against Wilcox-Hildreth at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. Wilcox-Hildreth has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 29. As for Harvard, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Elba at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Elba is ranked 284th, while Harvard is ranked 281st).
