Greenfield will face off against North Raleigh Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are strolling into their games after big wins in their previous games.
Greenfield is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Tuesday. They blew past Thales Academy Rolesville 14-5.

Christopher Tankersly and Simon Quinn were a major factor while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Tankersly pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Quinn tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). At bat, Tankersly scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3, while Quinn scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact as six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Stancil, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. Zach McKenzie was another, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
Meanwhile, North Raleigh Christian Academy never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Wake Christian Academy as North Raleigh Christian Academy made off with a 10-0 win. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
Like Greenfield, North Raleigh Christian Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Maddux Sanburn. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only a hit over four innings pitched. Sanburn was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Banks Woody was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Kai Patton, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
North Raleigh Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .552. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wake Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .222.
