If the Heartland Christian Academy Eagles were feeling good off their 69-47 takedown of Training Center Christian two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Heartland Christian Academy was beaten by St. Louis HomeSchool P 63-29 on Thursday.
Titus Bock and Noah Bock certainly did their best on Thursday to try and avoid the loss. Bock scored 11 points, while Bock scored ten points.
St. Louis HomeSchool P got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Isaac Keys out in front who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of AJ Stanley, Jr., who scored 17 points along with four steals.
Heartland Christian Academy has fallen quite a ways from their 15-4 record last season and are now at 2-4. As for St. Louis HomeSchool P, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-3.
Heartland Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Heritage Classical Christian Academy at 3:45 p.m. on January 19th. One thing working in Heritage Classical Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests. St. Louis HomeSchool P on the road again on Friday and play against Ozarks Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 19th.
