Tonasket is 1-9 against Lake Roosevelt since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Tonasket Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Lake Roosevelt Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Brewster scored an imposing 62 points on Tuesday, Tonasket still came out on top. Tonasket strolled past Brewster with points to spare, taking the game 78-62. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Tonasket.
Tonasket's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jade Ramon led the charge by scoring 24 points along with six assists. Kristian Jones was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Lake Roosevelt scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Okanogan with a sharp 91-69 victory. Lake Roosevelt has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 22 points or more this season.
Tonasket pushed their record up to 13-9 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lake Roosevelt, their win bumped their record up to 20-1.
Tonasket was dealt a bruising 89-51 loss at the hands of Lake Roosevelt in their previous meeting last Tuesday. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Tonasket was down 49-24.
