The Lake Region Thunder had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They blew past Celebration 40-11 on the road. Considering Lake Region has won three games by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Lake Region's win was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 5-5. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Celebration, Liberty, and Gateway. As for Celebration, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Lake Region will head out on the road to face off against St. Cloud at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Cloud will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. Celebration does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
